Research teams from all over Switzerland are conducting projects under NRP 60: from Geneva and Lausanne to St. Gallen, from Lugano to Basel, Bern, Lucerne and Zurich. The investigations are inter- and transdisciplinary, applying different perspectives from sociology, political and educational science, economics and psychology.
There are 21 research projects in NRP 60. They cover a wide range of gender equality issues. Research is being conducted in the areas of policy-making, the labour market, education and private household and family. For the sake of clarity, the projects have been allocated to the following three clusters:
